Atmel's collection of smart drivers and bridges for DC-brush applications enable a myriad of electronic applications. As all drivers are manufactured using Atmel's 0.8-µm BCDMOS or SOI process technology, they supports operation up to 40V and can be optimized for applications in harsh environments.

Atmel's multi-half bridge drivers enable applications such as, electric mirrors, power windows, and electrical door locks. wiper etc. As these drivers are fully protected against overtemperature and undervoltage, the multi-half bridge drivers are an equally effective solution for climate control systems. Atmel's intelligent stepper motor drivers can be used for dynamic headlight adjustment solutions used in HID lighting systems.

Atmel's gate driver family is omnipresent in the modern automobile – found in seat module, sunroof, and wiper system solutions. And as Atmel's gate driver family are also available for high-temperature applications, they can be used for applications with ambient temperatures up to 150ºC such as turbo chargers, throttle control or exhaust recirculation systems.
